“Mirroring Language” is looking at “the transformation of modern Arabic in the context of the rise of Arab cultural institutions” as a phenomenon appears in the past decades. The work presents at the library of SAVVY Contemporary is a collection of Bilingual art publication issued between 2003-2016 by Arab Art institutions, as well as Flash Cards contain 800 Arabic Terminologies on contemporary Art and their English equivalent excerpted from the former collection. The Terminologies are classified and arranged under various discourse categories such as the body, globalization, public space, gender, etc. The work concerns with the emergence of a language specific to bilingual art publications issued in the last decade in the EMNA (East Mediterranean and North Africa) region from Arab Art institutions.
